Online Business Building Strategies for us common folk

Salute to Mark Joyner, Simpleology and Dan Kuschell

September 27th, 2008 · No Comments · Internet Marketing

Two days ago Mark Joyner and Simpleology sponsored a teleseminar with Dan Kuschell.  Both men are highly successful business builders.  Wanting to always continue expanding knowledge and experience this was a must listen. Great interest to anyone focused on online business building.

The teleseminar/webinar was scheduled to begin at 8 A.M. local time. Mark came on and gave an overview of the session. An introduction of the guest followed. For about 5 minutes Dan was trying to get connected but due to some technical difficulties it didn’t happen. This went on for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile I took care of another matter instead of just waiting.

Finally, the event began, it was well worth the wait.  Dan discussed his qualifications then began sharing his 3 Pillars of Success: Mindset, Marketing Mastery and Persuasion & Communication Mastery.

Mindset - Stop thinking job and trading time for money. Develop an entrepreneurial thought process.

Marketing Mastery – If you build it then won’t come unless you take action to implement marketing strategies.

Persuasion & Communication Mastery – Learn the skills necessary to get people to respond favortably through your writing and speaking.

You must have a goal with your business. It will be extremely difficult to succeed if you don’t have a plan. Write it out what is your business, who is your market, what are your goals.

Always position yourself to ensure every communication is geared to a large audience. That creates leverage with your time, money and energy.

Find a way to do what you love and let your passion and enthusiasm shine through.  Develop systems and you have a business.

It is very critical to project a positive success self-image, so as you are building your business online you will also do what you must to keep your self image always moving upward. Study in depth those successful entrepreneurs you respect and want to master the same qualities, traits and attributes.

Find a hungry market and give them what they want. Take advantage of what is there, it takes tremendous amounts of time, energy and money to create a new market.

When visitors or readers come to your site, initiate a relationship and follow up to maintain.

The teleseminar ran over the one hour time limit but the content was valuable so it wasn’t noticeable. I consolidated the notes and created a mindmap. Then filed both in my Online Business Building research and knowledge file.  Then focused my attention on another project.

Just about an hour later I got an email from Mark Joyner at Simpleology. He apologized for the 20 minunte delay due to technical difficulties. He appreciated the loyalty and values his listeners time. Out of the blue and totally unexpected he made a gesture. If a Simpleology member he authorized access to any of the programs not yet participating in.

I tested his statement and it was 100% true. No strings attached and no hassles. After having to deal with many customer service nightmares and run arounds trying to contact, this was a breath of fresh air. My loyalty and respect rose considerably.

The content of the teleseminar was valuable for sure, but the online business lesson Mark demonstrated was priceless. As you are building your online business it would be a good idea to keep this example of best business practice in mind, think of your customers first, always.

The above post was to make public not only the conversation between Mark Joyner and Dan Kuschell but also how valuable Simpleology considers it’s customers.
